She wanted to be closer to her dad who is in heaven and hike Mount Kilimanjaro in US ” . She becomes the youngest female to hike this mountain and nabbed the world record after she made it to the top of the 19,341 –foot summit in March.

7 year old, Montannah Kenney , who is a second grader from Austin, Texas is so excited to break the record with a touching reason. She was determined to hike the mountain so that she could say hi to her father who passed away when she was just 3 years old.She knew that the mountain is above the clouds so that she was going to be closer to her dad in heaven!

“She knew she wanted to blow kisses to him and wave and hopefully he would see her.”

The brave girl along with her mother, Hollie Kenney hike the mountain in six days. The first day of their climb was a breeze for the them, however the remainder of the hike proved difficult duo to the pouring rain and freezing temperatures.Despite all these challenges, the little girl was brave enough to conquer the mountain because she knows an angel is looking after her and he lives in heaven with her dad!

Ultimately she broke the record of 8 year old Roxy Geeter, who has conquered Kilimanjaro on last year! Her mom Hollie is anticipating her daughter will make many more such adventurous trips in the near future and she is proud about her little daughter!

We love her sweet motivation behind this mountain hiking and wish her all the very best in life ahead!
