It always makes us happy when people are trying to do the right thing. This was the real feeling of a car owner named John Zelnio when he received an anonymous letter with few dollars in it from a kid apologizing to fix his vehicle which he thought he had damaged.
The honest apology from this kid saying “Mister I want to say I’m sorry, … I scratched your truck with my skate board and enclosed in the envelope 40$ to help cover the insurance from my grass cutting earning and some more money will send you next week when I finish some more yards” will move the heart of anyone who read it!
The letter was typed and sent to Zelnio Construction without a return address and John Zelnio wants to return this money to its owner since he doesn’t see any damage in the car!! John, who is a President of the Quad Cities Crime Stoppers Board, is looking for a tip to do the right thing finding this unknown Samaritan!
