5-Year-Old Boy With Cerebral Palsy Brings His Dad to Tears By Reciting Pledge of Allegiance

From the mouth of a boy who typically spoke only a handful of words, the entire Pledge of Allegiance came flowing without wavering. 5 year old “Mr Handsome” is bringing tears to his dad’s eyes with his incredible confidence in speaking the entire Pledge in one go. His coast Guard dad swelled with pride and broke out in tears of joy making all others to overflow in tears!

Jake, the handsome boy lives in St. Petersburg, Florida with his father Eric Garza and stepmom Taylor Garza. He lost his mother after battling with cancer .His stepmother was happy for Jake as the family was spending time together, playing music and singing songs when suddenly Jake began rattling off the pledge!He was able to speak the full sentence without wavering and this has marked as a milestone for his journey! The pledge of Allegiance has proven to be a breakthrough moment for Jake, whose vocabulary is beginning to explode. His father 32 years old Eric Garza was overwhelmed in tears of joy for his little son.When he heard Jake recite the pledge,he was literally reduced to tears and had no words to express his joy!

“I was full of- I was just so proud” 

Jakes family is incredibly grateful for the team of teachers at his school, who instruct and encourage him every days. He attends Sexton Elementary school, where his class recites the pledge on regular basis. Especially Jake’s aid Cheryl Cunningham who has an obvious love for the boy!The happiest and the smiley little kid is finally able to recite the whole pledge and the teacher is so happy for his speaking improvement.

As they all wish and pray, little Jake will do great things in the future and we are so happy for him!
