A few months ago, David Pendragon shared the story of his nephew, 10-year-old Ryker who was being bullied at school just because of a lunchbox.
“My cousin, Emily, has a 10-year-old son named Ryker. Ryker, who loves cats, was very excited to get his new lunchbox. Unfortunately because of its colors, or because it has cats, or both he was teased about it by other boys in his class. He even wanted to stop taking his lunch so he wouldn’t be teased about it any longer,” – Pendragon wrote on Facebook.
Ryker was teased about his colorful lunchbox which looks like so “girly”! So he wanted to stop carrying lunch. It was then his uncle decided to take the matter bit differently. Instead of getting him another lunch box, Pendragon purchased the exact same lunchbox and brought it to work. He then snapped a photo of him carrying the colorful lunchbox and posted it on Facebook.
The internet took the lunchbox matter so seriously and showed their incredible support. Many of them bought the same and brought them to the work! They have even posted their pictures in the internet to help support Ryker. They also encouraged him to ignore bullies.
