A mountain biker, Jarrett Little was compassionate enough to rescue a helpless stray dog he found on woods. He found the 5-month-old injured pup near the Georgia Sewage treatment facility and hoisted him on his back and gave him a forever home!
Little was biking in the woods in Georgia when he spotted the stray dog that appeared to have been hit by a vehicle. After seeing the skinny dog that came out of the woods with rash and broken leg, Little was feeling pity and never wanted to leave him there. He then carried the pup on his back and drove 7 miles to reach downtown Columbus to treat him. It was when he took the dog to a local shop for some water and food, a woman named Andrea Shaw took interest in the dog and offered a forever home for the pup.
“She paid for him to have his leg repaired with surgery and found an organization that could help get him back to Maine to live on her horse farm,” Little told.
Little was so happy to give the pup a new identity and named him “Colombo”. He gave him all the necessary treatments and Colombo is now ready to start his new life in a loving home.
