A Cappella ‘Come Thou Fount’ Is So Beautiful

“Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us”(1 Sam 7:12)

From the album of Sing Thy Grace –A Capella “Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing” by Eclipse 6 – is a marvelous song reminding about the God who helps us!

When the children of Israel were attacked by the Philistines, fearing for their lives they went to Prophet Samuel who pray God for help. When the Philistines retreated to their country, Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen and called the name of Ebenezer , saying ” Thus far the Lord helped us”! The word Ebenezer means “Stone of help” and was a reminder of what the Lord was done for them!

“Here I raise my Ebenezer, Here there by thy great help I’ve come” – God bless you brothers!

Verse of the Day

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV)
