After 37 years of married life, the loving husband decided to propose his wife all over again. Because he never like the way he proposed her back in 1981. Greg Madson along with his children and grandchildren made a sweet proposal to his terminally ill wife for the second time and its worth watching!
Greg Madson first proposed to his wife Serri in 1981, when the couple had just found out they were going to have a baby. That time Greg was more or less “tossed” his future bride a ring as his proposal. Their marriage was blessed with 5 children and nine grandchildren. However he always regretted the way he originally proposed his wife long back and wanted to make it more memorable with a fresh touch of love.Unfortunately, his wife Sherri is now battling with terminal liver cancer and the whole family is very much concern about her . So to show up his wife, how much he cares for her, they came with a plan to surprise her with a stunning marriage proposal!
That’s when he decided to do this amazing event and took her to a local park where their children and grandchildren were hiding and waiting with camera. Walking down , they have approached a message written in chalk on the ground and the secret event was unlocked to Sherri when she read it…“13,337 days of marriage, forever to go, Will you marry me again”
The heartwarming video shows the husband explains to her how much he longs to re-propose her and were unable to do it so far, And then he can be seen reaching over to a tree branch to pull off a ring tied to a piece of tulle. He then gets down on one knee asking his well prepared question…
“I have been wanting to do this for a long time, but I knew you’d be mad at me, If by chance I ask you to marry me again, would you?”!
She was glad to accept the lovely proposal with a sweet hug!! and when he got her in acceptance, he signaled his grandchildren to come out and celebrate the event! The kids all wearing custom “beat cancer” t-shirts and superhero costumes came running to blow bubbles around the “just married” couple!
“ Not everybody gets a do-over, and I imagine there’s a lot of people who have lost loved ones to sudden, or unexpected things”! This reminds us about the value of love and the need of expressing it at the right time in a right way!His son Jason was happy to realize this uncommon reality and I agree with his words!
My mom has terminal liver cancer.
My dad never liked how he originally proposed to my mom back in 1981.
Tonight he decided to do it over again!
