Bus Driver Teaches Kids A Song Every Year, But This One Moved Her To Tears

The last day of school for the kids at Hartland North Elementary school always starts with a song. Their bus driver Cheryl Chounard Pease teaches the little ones a song every year. Sometimes it’s “You Are The Sunshine of my life” or “Count your blessings”. But this year’s song was so special for her.

Pease chose that song for her kids as a tribute to her late brother who died 18 months ago, and this particular song was one of his favorite as it helped him get through the toughest days in his life!

When the kids started singing ‘the classing ‘Hair’ song, she couldn’t hold her tears. Watch the adorable but heartwarming video below.

Verse of the Day

Hear my voice when I call, LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek. Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior. — Psalm 27:7-9a (NIV)
