Woman With Down Syndrom Makes History In The U.S.A. State Pageant Competition!

A 22 year old student from Bethel University in Saint Paul- Mikalya Holmgren -became the first women with Down Syndrome to compete in the Miss U.S.A. state pageant! Her talents and charisma was good enough to earn her a “Spirit Of Miss U.S.A Award” and “Directors Award”. On this Sunday night with a respected standing ovation from the audience this stunning beauty made a history in the USA beauty contest!

She is a triple-threat athlete and serves as a mentor for other young women with a passion for dancing and started participating in the pageants at her young age itself!! She is truey a role model and her individual personality is worth admiring!

Her honorable  achievements at the “Miss Minnesota Pageant”speaks to all  of us that “Nothing can hold us back from shining as a STAR in the universe”. Mikalya , keep on shining! We wish you all the very best !
