CeCe Winans released the official music video for her new single “We Pray,” and it’s hitting hearts everywhere.
The Story Behind the Song
“We Pray” came out in 2024 as part of CeCe’s album “More Than This.” She wrote it alongside a talented team of songwriters, and the heart behind it is really beautiful.
CeCe has said she wants prayer to spread “like fire” through our communities. She sees it as the real answer to what so many families are going through today.
It keeps marriages together. It gives parents wisdom to guide their children in the right path. It brings comfort to families who are grieving over the loss of their loved ones. Prayer just does what nothing else can.
We weren’t meant to walk through this life alone. God designed us to lean on each other and to seek Him together. When one of us is weak, someone else can stand in the gap. That’s how it’s supposed to work.
So let’s keep praying. For our families. For our friends. For the people we don’t even know yet who are struggling right now. Let’s bring every worry, every fear, every broken piece to God and trust Him with all of it.
