Thomas Ramsey wrote ‘On Zion’s Glorious Summit’ back in 1887. He based his words on Revelation 4.
The hymn helps us picture what worship in heaven will look like. When we sing these words, we remember that someday we will join that heavenly choir around God’s throne.
