A father has found a fun way to get his young daughter to help around the house, and the results are making people smile.
We know that little children love to copy what adults do. God made them curious and eager to be part of everything we do, even the boring stuff like cleaning.
This dad made a video called “How to Get a Baby to Clean the House.” He explains his simple plan at the start. “Basically, the babies, they’ll do anything. So, you just ask them to do it,” he says.
The video shows his daughter doing different chores around the house. She washes dishes and plays with the bubbles in the sink. She pushes the vacuum across the floor.
She goes outside to help with yard work. She cleans the windows, though she misses some spots. She even gets in the shower wearing her swim clothes to clean it.
Her dad helps her when she needs it. He points to spots she missed. He shows her what to do next. You can tell he enjoys spending this time with her.
But one job is too much for her. When he asks if she wants to clean the toilet, she says no right away. Some things are still dad’s job.
The best moments with our kids often happen at home. When we include them in our simple chores, they feel important and loved. By doing so, we help prepare them to lead a better life.
