“Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?” What a glorious anticipation as we look toward eternity!
Isn’t it reassuring to know that we have a promise from our Abba Father that He will take us into His eternal home? We, the bride of Christ, are destined to live with Him forever in His heavenly kingdom, surrounded by His glory.
Jesus Himself said, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2–3).
And the book of Revelation gives us this comforting promise: “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).
Dear child of God, in the midst of every trial in life, I encourage you to look forward to this glorious promise. Do not lose heart. Remember that what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later.
“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever” (2 Corinthians 4:17).
