A gorilla at the zoo touched hearts around the world when he showed amazing kindness to an injured bird.
Zoo visitors saw something beautiful happen in the gorilla area. A big gorilla noticed a tiny bird that was injured and couldn’t fly.
Most animals would walk away, but this gorilla did something different. He walked over to the little bird like a worried parent checking on a sick child.
The gorilla got down low and put his face close to the bird. He looked right into the bird’s eyes like he was saying, “It’s okay, little friend. I’m here.”
His huge hands moved so carefully as he petted the bird. You could see he understood the bird was suffering.
After giving the bird some comfort, the gorilla gently nudged it. He seemed to be saying, “Try to fly now. You can do it.” But the bird stayed still.
The gorilla didn’t push or get upset. He just stepped back and watched from far away, like a guardian angel keeping watch.
God shows us this same tender love every day. When we feel hurt and helpless, He comes close and comforts us.
Let’s remember to be kind and caring to others, just like He is with us.
