A creative marketing video from the New Berlin Public Library has captured hearts across social media with its funny twist on a classic trust exercise.
The video shows two women who work at the library doing a trust fall. One woman stands ready to catch her coworker. But when the second woman falls backward, the first woman steps right out of the way. The woman hits the ground.
Then comes the message. The first woman says, “You can’t trust everybody. But you can trust the New Berlin Public Library to give you access — for free — to hundreds of books, great programming, and resources.”
The video ends with the second woman still on the floor.
The staff at this library chose to bring joy to their community in such a simple way. May we all find more moments to laugh together and brighten someone’s day with a smile.
