Police Officer Gives Up His Lunch to Feed Homeless Woman

After a day’s hard work, Toledo Police officer Justin Siminiak was really looking forward to his lunch, “I was given a $10 gift card to Chick-Fil-A. Figured it sounded good for lunch,” Siminiak explained.

But while he was walking into the parking lot, he spotted some homeless people on the corner of West Sylvania and Talmage.

Act of kindness

A witness shared a photo of officer Siminiak handing out Chick-Fil-A to a woman on the corner. “It was nice that we had positive interaction where they weren’t mad at me, telling them they had to leave or something. It was ‘just here’s some food have a good day,’” said Siminiak.

Verse of the Day

“[Fruitful Growth in the Faith] But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
