‘I’ve Got A Fire’ music video by Pat Barrett featuring his father is a pure joy to watch.

A Quiet Breakfast Turns Into a Celebration
Singer Pat Barrett sat down for a meal at a diner with his father. Pat had a brand-new song called ‘I’ve Got A Fire’ and his dad really wanted to hear it.
Before Pat pressed play, he had to give his father a little warning. He remembered how his dad reacted in the past and asked him to stay calm this time.
Pat told him, “If I let you hear something right now, you have got to chill.” His dad promised to be good, but that promise did not last very long once the music started.
A Message of Unstoppable Faith
The song itself is a powerful anthem about the light we carry as believers. It talks about having a fire inside that will never burn out and a joy that overflows from the soul.
The lyrics encourages people to break off their chains and let their praise out at the top of their lungs. Pat sings about how we are living in glory days because heaven is present with us right now.
It is a song about the freedom found in faith and the excitement of knowing God is moving in our lives.
Dad Cannot Hold Back the Praise
As soon as the beat dropped, Pat’s dad forgot all about being “chill.” He started dancing in his seat and moving to the rhythm right there at the table.
Pat tried to get him to settle down, but his dad was having too much fun. At one point, Pat joked that his dad was being even worse than the last time he showed him music.
It was clear that the message of the song and the pride he felt for his son were just too much to keep inside.
Many people put heartwarming comments on the video. One person wrote, “Your dad is a national treasure, and I could not stop smiling the whole time. This joy is CONTAGIOUS.”
Another person wrote, “So great to see a father and son enjoy life together like kids.”
What a joy to see a son and his dad praising God together. Let us rejoice in Him every day, remembering that we are saved by His amazing grace.

I can certainly see why the music took over. I wanted to dance in the hotel lobby while listening but I’m not as brave as the dad.
