This scared dog always felt secure in touching someone familiar and she was holding her care taker’s hand all the way. Regan, 4-year-old shelter dog was holding the hand of Rezac during the two and a half an hour car ride to her foster home.
The dog was brought to the animal shelter after her owner died. Regan was found afraid and confused in the new place, in the shelter home in Lebanon, Tennessee. Rezac, the 51 year old founder of Goofy Foot Dog Rescue and director of animal welfare for Animal Rescue Camp had spent three days with Regan to earn its trust! The caring women got to the point that Regan started wagging its tail and seems excited when she was around.
Rezac is taking Regan home as a foster until she could find her a family of her own! During the entire journey the dog was holding her hand and when she tried to take away, the dog pawed at her hand!
