A young brother and sister stopped everyone in their tracks when a simple car ride turned into one of the sweetest faith moments you will see all week.

God really does speak through children. There is something about the way kids talk about Him that cuts straight through all the noise — no filter, no overthinking, just pure belief. And honestly, watching it happen is enough to make you stop and take a quiet inventory of your own faith.
It started with Hank. He just came out with it, completely unprompted: “God is the king of everything!” You can almost hear the certainty in his little voice. Emmalyn jumped right in to make sure Jesus got the same title too.
Their mom smiled and stepped in with the sweetest explanation — that God and Jesus are actually the same person. Just like that, a theology lesson happened in a moving car.
Then Emmalyn said something that really hit. She told her mom that their faith is what keeps them from being scared when lightning flashes outside the window on trips.
And then she started singing. ‘The Wise Man Built His House Upon the Rock’ filled that car, and by the time they got to the end, Hank and Emmalyn had learned the moral with a little help from their mom. The house on the sand went “flat.” So you build on “the Lord Jesus Christ.” Simple. Settled. Done.
We spend so much of our adult lives overcomplicating what faith is supposed to look like. These two kids nailed it in a car seat. May we all hold onto it the way they do.
