Stranger Installs New Mailbox for Blind Woman So She Doesn’t Have To Walk Into Street

Lynda Tennette, a blind woman in Henrico, Virginia has to cross the busy roadway to open her mailbox. She has been worried for years that one day she would get hit by a car. But after a local television broadcasted her story, a Good Samaritan came forward to help the elderly woman. Wesley Benton was moved by Lynda’s story, because his great-grandmother was hit by a car while crossing the street to collect her mail. He installed a new mailbox with his own money to save a complete stranger.
