Psalm 56:3-4, 11 assures that “When I am afraid, I will trust in You– in God, Whose Word I praise. In God I trust, I will not be afraid– what can (mere) man do to me?” I read this Psalm in my devo time around a month ago, as our country was experiencing the first days of coronavirus lockdown.
Through it, the Lord gave me this song to share to anyone needing encouragement that no matter what danger, opposition, or crisis we face, He is WITH us– meaning He is both PRESENT and FOR us! And, since He is totally powerful, totally loving, and totally wise, we can TRUST HIM for the best help and protection possible! Yes, fear is normal– but WHEN we feel afraid, take this Psalm as our “prescription” and bring our fear to the Lord 🙂
