A 2-year-old boy stunned his father in a store with his incredible knowledge about the birds.
We often underestimate our children thinking like they are just kids. But then in the next moment, we hear something from them that makes us realize we were wrong. You may never expect words of wisdom from a 2-year-old boy, but this video clearly shows us that God has something hidden in every child that we simply cannot explain.
The little boy was in a store with his dad when a large plastic bird display caught his eye. He walked right up to it and studied it for a moment. Then, with total confidence, he spoke up.
“They look like, they look like egrets,” he said, pointing at the birds. “But they’re actually, they’re actually pelicans.”
And he was right. One hundred percent right. His dad swung the camera over to confirm it and sure enough, pelicans. You can almost feel the dad’s jaw dropping through the screen.
“Big guy, who taught you this?” the dad asked.
That question says everything. Because most grown adults would have walked straight past those birds without a second glance. But this little boy stopped, looked carefully, and knew the difference between two large similar-looking birds at just two years old. That is not something you see every day.
What gets you is the confidence in his voice. He did not hesitate. He did not guess. He just knew.
