A 3-year-old boy named Misha left the internet completely stunned after pulling off a full drum cover of the worship song ‘Praise’ by Elevation Worship — perfectly.
Three years old. That’s barely past diapers. And this kid is sitting behind a full drum kit, hitting every beat, every fill, every timing change in a worship song that grown adults struggle to play. How is that even possible? Only God.
‘Praise’ was written by Brandon Lake and Elevation Worship, released in 2021 on their album ‘LION.’ The song is all about choosing to worship God even when life is falling apart around you. That message alone is powerful. But watching a toddler pound it out on the drums with that kind of precision? That just does something to you.
This was Misha’s very first drum cover. His first one. Not his tenth, not after years of practice videos — his first. He learned every beat of that song and played it like he’d been doing it for years. You watch it and your jaw just drops. There’s no other reaction.
Most kids that age are still figuring out crayons. Misha is out here mastering rhythms that many adult drummers would find challenging. God clearly put something special in this little boy.
How many of us make excuses about not being ready to serve God yet?
We love to tell ourselves we need more time, more training, more confidence before God can really use us. Misha didn’t get that memo.
God doesn’t wait for us to feel ready. He just starts working. And sometimes He works through a tiny kid with drumsticks to remind the rest of us of that.
