A four-year-old girl became an unlikely hero when she saved her teacher’s life during a medical emergency at a Clarksville daycare.

We all know children see things we adults miss. Their hearts are pure, and they act without hesitation when someone needs help.

God uses the smallest hands to do the biggest work, and this sweet story proves that truth once again.

Last Thursday started like any other day at the daycare. But then something terrible happened.

Kyndal Bradley’s teacher collapsed right in front of her class. The teacher was having a seizure, and she was the only grown-up in the room with the children.

Most kids would freeze up or cry. Not Kyndal. She saw her teacher was in serious trouble and knew she had to act fast.

Without wasting a second, Kyndal quickly ran to get help from other staff members.

“I told the teacher, I said the other teacher; she was sick,” Kyndal said.

Her quick thinking saved a life. The teacher’s breathing stopped twice before the paramedics got there. They rushed her to the hospital right away.

The emergency workers told everyone that Kyndal’s actions made the difference between life and death.

Kyndal’s mom, Taylor Moore, had no idea what happened until she came to pick up her daughter. The scene that greeted her was unforgettable.

“They were like, ‘She’s our hero for the day,’ and I’m kind of looking like, what happened?” Moore said.

Moore couldn’t believe what she heard. She had been teaching Kyndal their phone number and address, but they never talked about emergencies. Her little girl just knew what to do.

“I never thought to introduce what to do if an emergency arises, so it was a shock to me to see that she knew exactly what to do in a situation like that,” Moore said.

This experience opened Moore’s eyes to something important. Children can be heroes too. They need to know how to help when bad things happen.

“They definitely need to know how to react,” Moore said.

The mom felt overwhelming pride in her brave daughter. She knew this could have ended very differently.

“If she hadn’t have gone and got the assistance, this story could have gone a totally different way,” Moore said. “So I’m very proud of her.”

The teacher is now home from the hospital and getting better every day.

God doesn’t look at age when He chooses His helpers. He looks at the heart. Kyndal had the courage to act when it mattered most.

Let’s pray for the teacher’s complete healing and thank God for using this precious child to save a life.
