So most choirs you see they stand in rows and they sing and that’s beautiful on its own. But Zero8 did something different. These men didn’t just sing ‘Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel,’ they moved together in perfect sync while doing it.
‘Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel’ is a traditional African American spiritual that goes way back. It comes straight from the story of Daniel in the lion’s den. The whole message of the song is that the same God who delivered Daniel is the same God who delivers us. That never changes.
