A heartwarming video of a dad and his four children singing ‘Come, Jesus Come’ together is bringing a lot of joy to people all over the internet.
I have seen so many parents searching for the best church, the best Sunday School, the best youth group for their kids. And there is nothing wrong with that. All of these things matter, and they can be such a blessing to a child’s faith. But is that really enough? Absolutely not. Our children should first learn about Jesus right in our own homes, through the faith they see lived out in their own parents. When I watched this father leading his kids in worship, I had tears in my eyes.
The Larson Family sang a very popular song called ‘Come, Jesus Come’ which was written by Stephen McWhirter, Bryan Fowler, Hank Bentley, and Tara McWhirter back in 2023. This song quickly became a favorite for churches everywhere.
The song’s message is a simple prayer asking Jesus to come back and fix our broken world. It talks about how we want God to heal our hurts and take away our pain. It reminds us that this earth is not our final home and we are waiting for the day we get to be with Jesus forever.
In the video you can see the father sitting on a chair and his four children are standing right next to him. Then the dad starts leading the song and his sweet kids join in with the most beautiful harmonies you will ever hear.

When we sing praises to the Lord, when we study the Bible, when we pray, let’s invite them to be a part of that. I promise this little effort you take now would grow into a faith that carries them for the rest of their lives.
