EOT Anabaptist choir performs a beautiful a cappella rendition of the famous hymn ‘He Is the Lord.’

The inspiring song ‘He Is the Lord’ was written by the beloved gospel songwriter Mosie Lister in 1991 and beautifully arranged by Lyle Stutzman.
Mosie was a famous Southern gospel singer who wrote hundreds of classic Christian songs throughout his life, and he composed this piece to declare the authority and divinity of Jesus Christ.
I love how the words of this song tell the whole story of Jesus from start to finish. It begins at the very start with His humble birth where we see Him lying in a cattle stall.
Then the song talks about the hard questions that people in the world ask today when they doubt faith and whisper if He is truly the one to save us from the fall.
Jesus answers all those questions with His love. The song takes us all the way to His powerful resurrection so we can see that Jesus won the victory over death.
The singers in the Echoes of Triumph Anabaptist Choir have such incredible harmony when they sing together. This vocals-only group features singers from Conservative Anabaptist churches. They do not use any musical instruments at all but their voices are so rich and blended.
This song reminds us that the lies and doubts this world puts into so many people’s hearts are nothing new. The enemy always tries to whisper questions to make us stumble, but the Bible tells us in Ephesians to shield our faith and stand firm on the truth of God’s Word.
No matter how loud the doubts around us get, we can look to the cross and the empty tomb to see that Jesus has already answered every single question with His absolute victory.
So let us walk each day with that blessed confidence that no earthly doubts, no trials, or even the powers of darkness can ever separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
