The music group behind this video is Sounds Like Reign. They are a family music ministry from Indiana led by Brackin and Lindsay Kirkland. They have eight children, seven boys and one baby girl.
Their home-built studio became a place of worship where they record simple acoustic hymns and original spiritual music. Over the years they built a massive global audience on YouTube by sharing their simple family devotionals.
In this performance, they sing Goodness of God. Jenn Johnson wrote this song back in 2018 alongside songwriters Ed Cash, Jason Ingram, Brian Johnson and Ben Fielding.
Jenn originally recorded the melody on her phone while driving home after adopting her son. The song reminds us how God stays faithful through every trial. When we look back at our daily lives, we can see how His mercy carries us through hard times.

Hearing this talented family perform the piece together moved me deeply. You see Brackin shifting between instruments like the hammer dulcimer, acoustic guitar, bass, tin whistle and percussion. Lindsay sings lead vocals and the most beautiful part of their performance is how their children join them in worshipping God.
