Christian singer-songwriter Kevin Christopher shared a 31-second clip of his family praying around the dining table, saying, “I think this might be my favorite video I’ve ever made.” Once you look at the bottom half of the screen you see why.

Kevin is a worship leader from Greenville, South Carolina who released his Christian EP ‘hello God’ in September 2025, featuring songs like ‘The Well.’ But this clip didn’t happen in a recording studio, it happened at the dinner table.
The top half of the split-screen shows Kevin, his wife, and their children holding hands with an open book in front of him, while the bottom half zooms in on their baby girl sitting between her parents.
As Kevin bows his head to sing, the baby glances between her mom and dad and squeezes her eyes shut tight to copy them.
Did you see how she checked her parents’ faces first and immediately wanted to do what they were doing? Many parents think their little ones are too young to understand anything about worship, but God’s wisdom makes even little children wise.
Holding hands with his family, Kevin sings the chorus of “Worthy of It All”: “You are worthy of it all… for from You are all things and to You are all things and You deserve the glory.” Written by David Brymer and Ryan Hall and released in 2012, the lyrics come straight from Romans 11:36. The song reminds us that everything we have comes from God and belongs to Him, so He alone deserves our praise.
Six seconds in when her dad repeats the opening line, the baby scrunches her face, tilts her head back, and opens her mouth as if singing and praying right along with him. She cannot say the words yet, but she keeps squinting her eyes shut through the chorus to stay part of the moment.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6 to train up a child in the way he should go, and in Matthew 19:14 Jesus tells us directly to let the little children come to Him. Brothers and sisters, our kids are watching what we do at home every single day, and we don’t have to wait until they are grown before teaching them to pray.
When you take two minutes at your dinner table to grab hands, bow your heads, and thank Jesus out loud, the Holy Spirit uses that simple prayer to work in your children’s lives. Our home is their first church.
This video is not just about an adorable baby trying to join her family in worship. It also shows us the importance of fellowship in families. Each day we must find time to worship God together. Like anything else we do regularly, family prayer should be part of our daily routine. It’s a blessing not only to our kids but also to our entire family.
“But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15, NKJV)
