Olive Heiligenthal, passed away after she stopped breathing on Saturday, December 14, 2019. But her parents believe in the healing and resurrecting power of Christ.

“We’re asking for prayer. We believe in a Jesus who died and conclusively defeated every grave, holding the keys to resurrection power. We need it for our little Olive Alayne, who stopped breathing yesterday and has been pronounced dead by doctors,” wrote Heiligenthal in an online post.

The prolific worship leader said, “We are asking for bold, unified prayers from the global church to stand with us in belief that He will raise this little girl back to life.”

Kalley believes that her daughter’s time in the world was not over and that “It’s time for her to come to life.”

She said, “It is our time to believe boldly, and with confidence wield what King Jesus paid for,” says Heiligenthal. “It’s time for her to come to life.”

The husband and wife have received tremendous support online from Christians like Jen Johnson and Dominic Shahbon, also from Bethel Music, who shared videos of Heiligenthal’s cry to God while leading worship.

On Monday, the third day of Olive’s passing, Heiligenthal shared another call to prayer, saying “Day 3 is a really good day for resurrection. She said. “We are overwhelmed with gratitude by your outpouring of love for us and faith for Olive. Jesus is Faithful and True and He’s riding in with the victory He bought for Olive,” Heiligenthal says.

Over 106,000 people have liked Heiligenthal’s original post on Instagram and almost 14,000 comments have been left on it at the time of writing.

“We call on the mighty all-sufficient name of Jesus and we call you back by name, sweet girl. You will live,” says Heiligenthal. “Thank you for your faith-filled declarations, keep them coming. Worship Jesus with us, He is moving, He is good, He is worthy and He is alive.”

As this grieving family is relying on the Lord to resurrect their daughter from the dead we pray for the peace and calmness of the Lord upon them.
