The Bible is filled with verses that remind us of the protection of God. As human beings, we need God’s protection to keep us from all harm.
God is able to prevent any evil or destruction from touching us, but since we have been given free will in an evil world we are prone to make mistakes in our choices.
God’s protection comes to us in the form of peace and strength in the midst of despair.
Many times when we pray and seek God’s protection, it comes as a warning that something is on the horizon that we cannot see.
Here are some Bible verses that tell us more about the protection of God:
1. 1 Corinthians 10:13 – No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
2. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 – But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
3. Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
4. Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

14. Psalm 138:7 – Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.
15. Psalm 140:4 – Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from violent men, Who have purposed to make my steps stumble.
16. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 – Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
