Everyone has their own struggles, whether believer or non-believer, rich or poor. But what makes us different from others is that we have a faithful God who never leaves us alone in our darkest moments.
How could we let God speak to us in our struggles? Through the Word of God. The scripture has been a constant source of strength for believers across generations.
The most beautiful thing about the scripture is that the same verse can speak to us in different ways in different situations. It could comfort you today and give you courage tomorrow, all from the very same words breathed by God.
Here are some Bible verses that give us strength when we are facing hard times in life:
1. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
2. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
3. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
4. Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
5. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
6. Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.
