Bus Driver Spots Toddler Running Alone On Busy Street, Reunites Her With Mother

Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus driver Diana Serrano helped reunite a lost, crying toddler with her mother.

The incident happened on the morning of August 4, when she noticed a 2-year-old girl running down the busy street in a T-shirt and an underwear. The footage shows the moment Serrano and another driver spotted the toddler. The other driver stopped and moved the child to the side of the road, then he left.

Serrano took the crying toddler inside the bus, called for help and calmed her down by showing her cellphone photos of puppies. The girl’s mother arrived and was reunited with her daughter.

MCTS says this was the eighth lost or missing child found by its drivers in less than two years.

Verse of the Day

“And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.”

Luke 2:16-20
