5,000 drones filled the sky with stunning Christmas light show that left onlookers speechless.

We all love Christmas. We stop in our tracks when we see nativity displays, decorated trees, and festive lights along the streets. Those sights fill us with wonder and joy.
But what if we saw our skies filled with thousands of Christmas light decorations? That’s exactly what people experienced at this amazing show.
Sky Elements put on this incredible show at the Birdville ISD Fine Arts/Athletics Complex in North Richland Hills, Texas, on December 20, 2024.
The company earned their 11th Guinness World Record for the “Longest Animation by Drones.” They beat the previous record of 26 minutes and 26 seconds that a Chinese company held.
The team had just set their last record with 2,500 drones only one week before this show.
Families watched from their cars at this drive-in event. They tuned their radios to 88.9 FM to hear the music and narration that went with the show. A Guinness World Records official came to verify the record in person.
5,000 Drones Light Up the Sky
The show started with a giant turkey that spread its colorful feathers across the sky. Then the drones formed a big snowman and a sweet gingerbread village with festive lights and smoke.
The finale showed Santa Claus and his reindeer flying with a sleigh full of gifts. The message at the end said, “Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good flight!”
What a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of our Savior! This show brought people together to share joy and amazement.
