He Was Bullied for Wearing the Same Clothes Every Day, So His Classmates Gifted Him New Clothes

When a freshman at MLK Prep in Memphis, Tennessee, was getting bullied for wearing the same clothes to school every day, what his classmates did next blew him away.

Freshman Michael Todd said that his first weeks of high school were scary because of the bullying.

He froze when he was taken out of third period by his classmates, but then football players Kristopher Graham and Antwan Garrett handed him a gift.

Graham and Garrett decided to surprise him with brand new clothes and new shoes to make his life easier.

Todd said, “It was the best day of my entire life.” That was such a sweet gesture by Graham and Garrett for freshman Todd, and their kindness surely made Todd’s day brighter.

Verse of the Day

“[Obedience by Faith] If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”

1 John 4:20-21
