Who else feels that peace in their hearts when they listen to Christian music in the quiet times of their day? It refreshes my spirit and helps me walk closer to God throughout the day.
But are we humans the only ones who experience the comfort of worship music? These two dogs are making us think differently.
In the video, the television was playing the song ‘I Exalt Thee’ by Jesus Culture in the living room. A French Bulldog was resting on a big brown ottoman right in front of the screen.
As soon as the music started, he quickly turned toward the TV. He didn’t bark or run around. He just sat up straight and looked right at the singers.
His ears stayed up as he watched the people praising God. It seemed like how we forget everything around us when we immerse ourselves in worship music sometimes.
Across the room, another dog was resting on the couch. This pup put his head down on his owner’s lap and looked on with big, soft eyes. He looked completely at peace.
They both stayed very still while the music filled the house. It was a cute moment of two dogs reacting to worship music.
Maybe we can learn a thing or two from these furry friends about finding joy in struggle and simply resting in His love.
