Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Sings ‘Moana’ Song To Little Boy Fighting Cancer

It was a dream come true for a 3-year-old boy fighting cancer when his hero sent him an incredible video message.

Hyrum Harris has acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Down Syndrome, but through it all there is one thing which keeps him going- Disney’s Moana.

He can watch the movie ten times a day. “Moana is played when he is happy, when he is sad, scared and exhausted. It is his happy place,” said Hyrum’s mother, April Harris. “He watches it like it is the first time every time. He sings along and mimics Maui throughout the movie.”

So when ‘The Rock’ came to know about Hyrum’s condition and his love for ‘Moana,’ he sent him a video to encourage Hyrum and make him smile.

Johnson wrote on Instagram: “MAUI makes him feel strong. According to Hyrum’s mama, his most important thing to say now is, I STRONG. Yes you are big man. Yes you are.”

He added, “Hyrum, I know I’m a complete stranger to you – who sounds a lot like your hero, MAUI (only with a very large head), but myself along with millions of other strangers who will watch this video are sending you so much love, strength and mana your way. I STRONG. Love, the Rock aka the dude who sounds a lot like Maui.”
