A photo of a flight attendant holding an anxious passenger’s hand and comforting her on a flight from Charlotte International Airport, North Carolina to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York, is garnering the attention of people across the internet.
Flight attendant, Floyd Dean-Shannon, surely deserves a raise for his kind and beautiful gesture, going beyond the normal duties.
He sat down on the aisle beside the frightened and worried woman passenger, held her hand, and reassured her that everything was alright while explaining every bump and sound throughout the journey of the flight
The man who captured the heartwarming scene tweeted the pic and wrote, “Check out this gem of a flight attendant that was on our flight from CLT to JFK. This woman was so nervous about flying, so he explained every sound and bump and even sat here holding her hand when it still got to be too much for her.”
People who saw the beautiful moment praised Floyd and many of them recounted their own similar encounters while they were on a flight. Someone rightly commented that “Flight attendants are the nurses of the sky.”
