Christian music artist Forrest Frank recently shared his powerful testimony of how God called him into ministry through a stranger’s powerful dream.
We all wonder how God will speak to us about His plans for our lives. Sometimes He uses people we have never met to deliver His message. Forrest Frank experienced this first hand and it changed his life forever.
Forrest was attending church when something amazing happened. A girl he had never seen before walked up to him. She was not even from his city. What she told him would change everything.
“She’s like, ‘Hey, God gave me a dream about someone named Forrest Frank, and a lot of it was about this prophetic thing about, ‘Hey, I think you’re supposed to do Christian music. And you’re going to, like, change the game.'” Forrest said.
Here is what makes this story so powerful. Forrest had not made any Christian music at that time. “This is before I ever did any Christian music,” he explained.
God spoke to this woman about Forrest’s future before Forrest even knew it himself.
The woman’s dream included verses from Isaiah 61. She spoke about children returning to their fathers and fathers returning to their children. She mentioned garments of praise and ruins being rebuilt. These words painted a picture of restoration and healing.
Forrest now sees how God is using his music to fulfill this prophecy. He believes God is taking venues that were built for other purposes and turning them into places of worship.
