Grandmother’s Prayer Closet Saves Entire Family From Deadly Tornado

For Christians, God is our hiding place, our fortress and whenever we are afraid, we can run to Him and take refuge.

That’s what a family did to survive a deadly tornado which tore through parts of Alabama in 2019 after their entire house was destroyed in the storm, but nothing happened to them because they took shelter in their grandmother’s prayer closet.

It was the only part of the house which was not demolished.

Sadly, 22 people died when the tornado hit the community. But, this family was not hurt, an image of the grandma’s prayer closet was shared on Facebook by Jason Smith, a member of the response team in the community.

“Listen to me please. I just left a family who survived the tornado in this house and the only left standing is this closet. It’s the grandmother’s prayer closet, and the whole family survived,” explains Jason. “Are you kiddin me!!! My God is awesome!!! Shout somebody!”

Listen to me please. I just left a family who survived the tornado in this house and the only left standing is this…

Verse of the Day

“And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ””

Matthew 2:4-6
