Brandon Lake wrote ‘Gratitude’ in 2021 to express how our praise, though imperfect, is precious to God. The song powerfully reminds us that even our deepest thanks can never fully express our gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice and God’s endless love.

Yet, like the song says, we keep praising Him because that’s all we can offer. Megan brings this message to life through her elegant harp playing and heartfelt singing in a five-and-a-half-minute video.

As she performs the powerful lyrics “So, I throw up my hands and praise You again and again ’cause all that I have is a hallelujah,” the Swiss mountains provide a perfect backdrop that showcases God’s incredible creation.

The video’s description explains the choice of location perfectly: “We filmed this on a mountainside in Lugano, Switzerland! To me, it signifies the vastness, and sheer beauty of the Lord and His ways. Bring your offering of Praise and come into His presence.”

As we watch this beautiful performance, let’s remember that our true home isn’t in this world but in the eternal kingdom God has prepared for us. This incredible hope we have is purely because of His grace and mercy toward us.

While we journey here, let’s use every moment to express our gratitude, lifting our voices, our talents, and our lives to glorify His name for all He has done for us.
