Henry Winkler surprised his fans with his joyful dance moves during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
The legendary actor showed up for the Monday, Jan. 12 episode of ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ ready to move. Before he even stepped onto the main stage, he had to pass through the famous spirit tunnel.
This is a backstage hallway where the show employees line up to welcome guests. As the 80-year-old actor started his walk, the staff began to sing. They used the melody of ‘Uptown Girl’ by Billy Joel but changed the words to celebrate him.
Henry Winkler didn’t just walk through the crowd. He started kicking and twirling with energy that caught everyone by surprise. The Fonz was back in action as he strutted his stuff down that hallway. He moved with a kind of fancy footwork that you just don’t see every day. The employees clapped along while he danced his way toward the set.
When he got to the very end of the line, he stopped to look back at the people cheering for him. He turned around and blew a kiss to the staff and gave them a wave.
The show later posted the clip on Instagram. They wrote, “We’re so happy @hwinkler4real is back!” and fans couldn’t get enough of it.
