Kindhearted Police Officers Take Inmate To Visit His Dying Mother In Hospital

In a very touching gesture, Police officers at Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office in Santa Rosa, California, drove one of their inmates to see his dying mother for one last time.

The department in a post on Facebook wrote that their Transportation Unit had something very special to share. They said that it was an honor to escort an inmate to visit his mother who was in hospice care. It was an incredible and special time which they would never forget.

The family of the woman had taken some photos of them with the police officers which they wanted them to share with everyone.

These pics are so touching because we can see what a kind gesture the police had shown that mother and son and we are all moved by it.

Verse of the Day

“And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ””

Matthew 2:4-6
