Irene Basham has been teaching since 1947. But this 89-year-old still has no plans to retire. This devoted teacher has educated more than 3,000 students in 70 years of her career. Now she teaches reading one-on-one to the early learners. “I love to come to school, I look forward to it.” Irene says. What a blessing to the students.
