As believers, our ultimate hope is that one day Jesus will return and we will live with Him forever in perfect peace.

The Oak Ridge Boys remind us about that beautiful day through their classic performance.

The Oak Ridge Boys have been singing together since the 1960s. This country gospel group knows how to blend their voices and touch hearts. They show no signs of stopping their music ministry.

The group has recorded many gospel favorites over the years like ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus’, ‘Where the Soul Never Dies’ and ‘Because He Lives’. Now they remind us about Jesus’ return with this powerful song.

Their performance carries a message of hope. The lyrics say: “Troubles will soon be o’er, happy forevermore When we meet on that shore, free from all care Rising up in the sky, telling this world goodbye Homeward we then shall fly, glory to share.”

These words paint a picture of our future home in Heaven.

No matter what struggles we face right now, our King is coming back. We can find strength knowing that one day we will meet Him in Heaven.

What a wonderful day that will be. Until then, we can praise God and tell others the good news that He is coming back to save us all.

Verse of the Day

“Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.””

Revelation 21: 2-4
