Pop star Justin Bieber is impacting millions of his followers by sharing his love for God by posting a faith-based video on Instagram.
Bieber who has 126 million followers on Instagram, shared an image with the caption, “You are supposed to watch this.” The video is full of natural scenes with Bible passages which point to God as the creator of the world.
The video begins, “Today no matter what you’re facing, no matter what you’re asking for, dreaming about, anticipating, believing for, God can do more.”
“Standing by a massive body of water can put everything into perspective. The ocean with its powerful currents, tides and waves crashing on the shore, you realize how big God is.”
The video then invites everyone to stop for a moment and think of the wonder and mystery of the One who created it all. It then leads the people through a prayer focused on God’s magnitude and power.
Bieber was baptized some years ago in New York City and led worship at the Churchome church in Beverly Hills, California in 2019, even though he was skeptical about people’s opinions on it. He shared on social media, “Sang at church last night,” Bieber wrote, “God is pulling me through a hard season. Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is the absolute hardest. But he is faithful to complete what he started.”
Bieber married Hailey Baldwin in a September 2018 private ceremony which was followed with a traditional wedding ceremony and reception the next year.
We praise God for Hollywood celebrities like Justin Bieber and Kanye West who are not ashamed of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to their fans and followers around the earth. May God give them the guidance and protection as they work for the Kingdom.
