A precious video shows an 11-week-old Labrador puppy bowing his head in prayer with his owner before eating dinner.
We take so many things for granted in our lives, don’t we? The breath we breathe, the roof over our heads, the food on our table, and the loved ones around us. We often forget that all these are blessings from God.
The simplest thing we can do in return for His faithfulness is to say “Thank You.” Here, even this tiny puppy reminds us why gratitude matters, as he pauses before his meal to give thanks with his owner.
The sweet scene begins when the owner fills his puppy’s bowl with food. Most dogs would rush straight to their dish, but not this little Lab.
When his dad asks him to pray, the puppy sits down and bows his head.
The owner begins: “Lord we ask that you bless this food and nourish to our bodies we’re very grateful and appreciative for everything we have thank you Lord for everything in Jesus name we pray amen.”
The puppy stays perfectly still through the whole prayer. His little head remains lowered as he waits. Only when his owner says “Amen” does the puppy start eating.
