When we feel upset, our kids’ sweet smiles or playful gestures can instantly light up our mood. Sometimes, their words bring more peace than any adult around us.

Here a little girl noticed her mom was upset and offered her some incredible advice.

The touching moment started when the mother carried her daughter through their kitchen. You could tell something was bothering the mom and making her feel anxious.

But instead of getting upset, this sweet five-year-old decided to help her mother feel better.

The little girl looked at her mom with such love and said, “I just want you to breathe and be calm.”

Then she shared her perfect plan to help: “Get your Kindle or, like, get a real book and, like, make some coffee and, like, bring it outside. And, like, calm down and chill, and we can hang out together.”

Can you imagine hearing those words from your child? This little one understood exactly what her mom needed. She knew that sometimes we just need to step back, take a breath, and do something peaceful.

Her suggestion about getting a book and coffee shows how much she pays attention to what makes her mother happy.

The most beautiful part was when she said they could “hang out together.” This child knew that being together was what her mom needed most.

This sweet little girl just inspired us with wisdom beyond her years. We can all take a lesson from her words.

When your heart feels stressed or worried, change your focus to something that you love to do and give your worries to God.
