A sweet video shows a musician playing guitar and singing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ to a unique audience – an owl.
Music is one of God’s good gifts to us. It brings joy and connects us in ways that words alone cannot. Some may think only we humans love and enjoy music. But this musician proves it wrong. Animals too can feel and respond to music.
In the video, Plumes, a French musician, sits with his guitar and starts to sing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow.’ As soon as he begins, an owl flies over and lands on the bench right in front of him.
The bird sits there and listens to the whole song. It makes sounds as if it is enjoying the music. When the musician finishes playing, the owl flies away.
The video has viewed nearly a million times on YouTube alone. Many were amazed by the owl’s response to the music. One person wrote, “Love her little squeaks to the music. She’s absolutely beautiful.”
Another person wrote, “The way these animals connect with you is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Gives me chills.”
