Then our thirties arrived with more questions. “Your 30s come and you’re like, ‘Where are we going? How late are they open? Is it loud?'” We started caring about details. Comfort became important. We wanted to know what we were getting into before we said yes.
By our forties, everything shifted again. Bargatze captures this perfectly: “Your 40s, you’re ‘I’m not going! I’m not. I’m mad that you thought I would go!'”
